It was a great honour for us to attend Chevening’s A day of music, culture and The Beatles – Chevening in Liverpool event, A tour of the Beatles Museum, and a performance and guest talk from the Department of Music and Arts at the University of Liverpool, which was a great day.
We enjoyed a fantastic day and toured the Beatles museum before a guest talk with the department of music and arts about all the Beatles and culture at the University of Liverpool. Just before the guest talk at the University of Liverpool, we enjoyed a one-hour-long and amazing piano concert orchestrated by the music department.
This was an enjoyable day and an amazing experience for everyone. We had #CheveningCharlie with us, and before the event started with some scholars, we quickly visited Anfield, Home to Liverpool Football Club, which was a great experience and ended the day visiting some unique places in the city, including the famous and iconic The Beatles Statue which were great for us all. We remain grateful to Chevening for this experience.
