Honoured to have been a speaker at the Campus Leaders Congress Kigali which took place at The African Leadership University (ALU).
The presentation titled “From Problems to Products: How African Students Can Build Digital Solutions That Transform Communities” inspired students across all disciplines to adopt an innovative problem-solving mindset, identifying real community challenges and transforming them into practical digital solutions.
Through this presentation and session, students explored a practical roadmap for transforming everyday community problems into real digital products, from identifying genuine problems in their environment, to designing, building, and deploying solutions that address them and create measurable impact.
The session challenged students to move beyond passive learning and adopt a builder’s mindset utilising the project-based learning approach. I am happy to have also shared about my early journey and experiences, career challenges, overcoming them, and lessons that shaped my journey.
Participants included university students from across Rwanda universities and young Campus Leaders from over 14 nations. Many thanks to Renewed Mind Leaders and African Leaders University.
