A great honour to speak at the Emmi Global Entrepreneurial Leadership Summit under the theme Sustainable Empowerment, Innovation and Creative Thinking.
The presentation titled, Cameroon’s Cybersecurity Landscape: Safeguarding Personal Brands, Digital Products and SMEs from Persistent Cyber Threats, examined the threat environment facing individuals and businesses operating in Cameroon’s digital economy, and set out practical defences in three areas: protecting personal brands and online presence; safeguarding digital products and platforms against common attack patterns; and reducing the cyber exposure of small and medium-sized enterprises, which face persistent threats but typically operate without dedicated security capacity.
The session also addressed why technology skills are increasingly essential in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
