Attending the Commonwealth Day Celebration Service at Westminster Abbey was a great privilege and honour. Seated in a room with over 54 countries of the Commonwealth represented, Watching His Majesty the King deliver his first Commonwealth Day Message, amongst other key presentations, vibrant cultural displays, and art performances, was a fantastic opportunity. And a great way to celebrate the rich diversity and shared heritage of the Commonwealth. This, for me, was an unforgettable experience and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I will always be grateful, and I thank Chevening for an opportunity to attend such a prestigious event and to join in the Celebration of the Commonwealth Day.
