“It was a great honour attending ‘Chevening and the Chocolate Factory event, enjoying a chocolaty fun-filled day exploring Cadbury’s Chocolate world, one of the most giant chocolate factories in the UK.

We had a fantastic opportunity to explore the chocolate factory world in Birmingham, learning & making our own chocolate and having some delicious afternoon tea while learning about the magic of chocolate.

As we started, we visited and went through the amazing exhibitions, discovering and learning about the making and magic behind the Cadbury brand and enjoying a sequence of special effects cinema presentations in their themed auditoriums demonstrating traditional chocolate-making skills. We also got to see how Cadbury’s most popular products were made, watching Cadbury adverts from the past 100 years, riding the 4D Cinema Experience & visiting the Bournville Experience heritage centre and learning about Bournville’s rich heritage.

It has been an excellent day, and we are so grateful to Chevening Awards for this prestigious opportunity. We also had a lot of take-home ???. ”
